Son's emotional last goodbye to mum he's watched slowly die for 11 years from early onset dementia

For 11 years, Jake Heath has had to watch his mum slowly deteriorate in front of his eyes - and today he knows he finally has to say goodbye.

Jacquie was diagnosed with Pick's disease - a form of dementia - in 2007 at just 48 years old, but she had been misdiagnosed since 2005.

When Jake shared photos of his mother's deterioration online last year, he even confessed: "I really hope she dies soon."

Heartbreakingly, the family were praying for the end to come so their beloved mum didn't have to endure any more suffering.
